Herrmannsdorfer Farm

I really enjoyed this excursion. As someone that isn’t all that into history or museums, this was probably my favorite excursion of the program. I had a lot of fun. I really enjoyed seeing the animals and even getting to pet and feed some of them. I enjoyed hearing about the steps taken to keep things humane and I think we all really enjoyed the pretzel making process. I think this excursion mostly related to the EAT portion of the program. We learned a lot about the process of where food comes from and how they care for the animals that they keep. We were told about how animals are bred and chosen to provide food and other resources and we learned about the process of making a delicious German pretzel.
