BMW Museum
At the café in the BMW Welt, there were reusable cups for sale. I thought that this was interesting as it made me think about the MAKE questions from the Nottingham observation.
I thought the exhibits that showed different parts of cars and the evolutions of those parts were very interesting. I’m not much of a car person myself and I had expected to just see a bunch of cars, but it was pretty cool to see and I think it would have been really fascinating to someone with more of a fondness for cars.
The museum walks us through the evolution of a huge contributor in travel, and how different vehicles and vehicle parts were made, why they were made, and who they were made by, applying to both the MAKE and GO parts of the program. There were some parts of the museum that touched on how transportation affects where we can live, applying somewhat to the LIVE piece of the program, and alternatively how transportation is affected by where we live.
